POLICIES AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE WEDDING AGREEMENT

Changes to the Wedding Agreement.  It is understood that any changes to the content or understandings included in the Wedding Agreement must be by approval of both parties to be valid. Any cancellation must be in writing. Any cancellation must be provided via email or mail to the contact information listed. All changes must be submitted to Stark Weddings, Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, anthony@starkweddings.com within 60 days of the scheduled event.

Balance Due.  All balances are due 30 calendar days before your event. Exceptions are available under the direction of Stark Weddings and must be submitted in writing to the address listed above or emailed to Stark Weddings directly. An email confirming receipt of the details will be provided; otherwise, the email has not to be received. All decisions are at the direction of Stark Weddings, and all decisions are final.

COVID-19 Safety Protocols: It is at the discretion of the Wedding Officiant and the Wedding Officiant only what Safety Protocols are to be followed. Until further notice, it is at Stark Weddings staff’s discretion to wear an appropriate face covering while attending a wedding anywhere in Ontario. This policy is effective for Stark Wedding staff only; however, we do strongly encourage all brides and grooms to promote COVID-19 Safety Protocols to help keep their loved ones and guests safe, as well as themselves.

Payment Methods. Cash, Interac e-Transfer. Stark Weddings does not accept any form of Credit Cards.

Parking/Additional Fees. If Stark Weddings is changed, additional fees or parking costs. This will be billed to the bride or groom unless other arrangements have been made before the wedding day. This mutual agreement must be in writing and agreed upon by the bride, groom, and Stark Weddings. These fees are to be paid in full before the wedding ceremony start time.

Time Management.  It’s extremely important to inform Stark Weddings as soon as possible if there are any time scheduling changes to your special day (your event). Stark Weddings REQUIRES (no exemptions) your marriage license (if applicable) 30 MINUTES PRIOR to your CEREMONY. Otherwise, there may be a delay in your wedding ceremony service. Stark Weddings and only Stark Weddings can extend an end time on service. This is strongly encouraged to be done, finalized, and approved before the day of service (your special day).

Refund or Credits.  All initial fees and payments are due upon receipt unless otherwise stated in the Wedding Service Agreement and/or Invoice. Initial fees and payments are non-refundable, non-transferable, and applied to balances of services rendered. Stark Weddings reserves the sole right to enforce or not to enforce this policy. Stark Weddings has the final say, and all decisions are final. We are also human, though, and all decisions will be made as fair as possible as the situation allows.

Wedding Officiant/Planner Replacement. In the event of any unavoidable accident or personal situation where the Wedding Officiant/Planner assigned to your booking cannot attend or complete this function, a replacement Wedding Officiant/Planner of equal quality and experience will be assigned to your function. In this situation and this situation alone, a full refund can be provided as an option too.

Signing Table Requirements. The wedding officiant may require a small table big enough for signing the marriage documents, fully draped or dressed in coordination with the event by the hall or event staff/volunteers.

Outdoor Function Safety. Where a function is held outdoors, facilities that completely cover and protect the wedding officiant during the full ceremony length must be provided by the client to protect from direct sunlight and adverse. This includes raining and/or unfit unsafe weather conditions. End result could be a 50% rebooking fee or even a possible cancellation of service with no refund.

Wedding Planner/ Coordinator. At functions where a Wedding Planner or Coordinator is involved (outside of the Stark Weddings Staff), there may be an additional fee for additional advance planning meetings with this planner unless such meetings are held with and in concert with existing client/Stark Weddings Staff planning meetings. These fees can and are usually discussed during the booking procedure.

NSF Payments. Stark Weddings no longer accepts personal cheques, no exceptions. Any business or corporation cheques are accepted on an individual basis and are subject to approval by Stark Weddings on an individual basis.

Congratulations again on your upcoming special day from all of us at Stark Weddings
